I am Alfred Stoppels: GoPro-addict, Graphicsdesigner and an Aficionado to Life! Travel to places to create experiences and to learn new things is one of my goals in life. A life that started in 1967 in the Netherlands.
Amongst the things I love to do: Travel, Urban Hiking, Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Njoy Speedboats, Ride waves with a Jetski, Fly Trick-Kites and be a Happy Explorer. I only just picked up Scubadiving (2016) so there lies a lot of new stuff still to explore for me. I have my PADI Open Water now and move on till .... we shall see! In May I return to Cyprus to get my PADI Advanced. Somewhere in the future I will dive with Whalesharks!
Cyprus is one of my Top Favourite locations, Polis in the northwest part to be exact. I am not the biggest fan of 'crowd' so I don't go to the more touristy southern part of Cyprus. Sun and Fun is always good on Cyprus, so are the people living there, always friendly and always helpful.
Also do I have a little house in the German Harz, in Altenau. Lovely nature and quiet, best place to be to fill up my batteries.
Meeting new people is the best thing to happen whilst traveling. They are a guarantee for new experiences and a solid base for learning new stuff.
My travel partner mostly is my second half Joke Vonkeman, for 30 years now.
